2019 ANNOUNCEMENT: A desert photography workshop in Borrego Springs, California on March 22-24, 2019

Butterfly on desert flowerSandy Zelasko and I are once again leading our Borrego Explorer Photography Workshop—to be based in Borrego Springs, California—on March 22-24, 2019.

This workshop is an excellent introduction to photographing the Borrego Springs area and the surrounding Anza-Borrego Desert, with opportunities to photograph local flowers, wildlife, landscapes and other flora and fauna of the desert.

For answers to most of your questions about the event, you can read our 2019 Borrego Explorer flyer here.  For more information or questions you may contact Sandy Zelasco at email slzphoto@sbcglobal.net or telephone her at 760-749-2174.

Below are a few photographs taken during the 2018 desert workshop.  Sandy and I naturally give our workshop participants priority, but of course we also have our cameras with us!  The spring of 2018 was the driest in the desert that I had yet seen, but while we were conducting the workshop here and there we found a few ephemeral spring flowers and wildlife, including many birds species.

Thank you for visiting!
